Catalyst Asset Finance offer finance solutions for broadcast, media, live entertainment and AV – think equipment, studios, vehicles and more. They approached AZ Design for a brand identity that would appeal to their very specific target audience. The Micro Brand+Web Package contained everything they needed to hit the ground running.

Brief
Visually, the finance industry can look corporate and clinical. Catalyst Asset Finance wanted to break out of the mould and appeal to media professionals who are used to brightness and colour. We also needed to find an ingenious way to explain the offering rather than solely using images of equipment.
Result
Dazzling shades of blue and magenta were chosen to be memorable and bold. They are also reminiscent of the bright lights and colours in the entertainment and broadcast industry. On the website, the use of video behind the logo is striking and creates motion and energy, whilst graphics that resemble retro-inspired prints showcase the assets on offer. All of this is tied together by the wordmark logo which has a strong but enticing presence. Lastly, the ‘C’ emblem lends itself well to printed marketing materials and further encourages brand recognition.
The business is showing solid year-on-year growth and continues to use AZ Design for on-going support and consultancy: including social media templates, Powerpoint sales deck template, plus further updates to the website as the business offer evolves.
