DESIGN PROCESS

I understand that no two projects are the same and aim to create an effective and memorable brand by following a simple five-stage design process.

1. Discovery

We kick off with a briefing meeting to run through our client questionnaire with you. I listen and understand your requirements, objectives and ideas. I advise and suggest ideas you may not have thought about.

Building a relationship with you and understanding what makes your product unique is at the heart of my ethos. I will listen and work with you to implement the best brand strategy for your business.

2. Strategy

I research in detail – looking at your target audience, your competition, your uniqueness, your personality and your story – implementing a brand strategy to help you achieve your goal.

Having a considered brand strategy also helps set an objective to the design process rather than just a subjective approach.

3. Design

Now the creation phase can commence; logo design or refresh, colour palette, fonts, imagery and graphics. Communicating your brand clearly and concisely using strong, proven graphic design principles.

When considering your brand design options, please ask yourself which logo best represents the brand personality defined in the brand strategy.

4. Production

Once we have a solid brand and visual identity in place, I can establish and produce the marketing tools that are relevant for your target market; both print and digital. Brochures, flyers, stationary, business cards, leaflets, website and advertising. Even exhibition stands and pop-up banners.

5. Support

Throughout the entire process I am here to help and will be at the end of the phone or on email to answer any questions you may have – well beyond the end of the project.

My ultimate goal is to maintain my clients and help them over the years of growth and change. A brand should never remain static and stagnant. It needs to constantly be updated and evolve, responding to your audience and your business goals.
