Cognomie

An innovative, collaborative and people-focused mental fitness coaching brand

Cognomie commissioned az.design to rebrand their Mental Fitness Coaching business after obtaining investment from crowdfunding and entering rapid growth and expansion. They wanted the brand to be more innovative, collaborative and people-focused and to work more effectively across digital platforms as this is their main touch point with clients.

Brief

Cognomie wanted to stay true to their original logo but update it and develop the visual identity to embody their brand values: human, inclusive, visionary, collaborative, impactful, and excellence.

Result

We created Cognomie’s new responsive logo with an invigorating colour palette, typography, and impactful visual identity with bold graphics, icons, illustrations and photography. All put together in a brand guidelines document to keep the brand consistently slick. We have also provided consultancy services and design support for the new website.

With the cog being a core element of Cognomie’s original logo, we evolved the logomark to create a modern take with individual trapeziums collaboratively entwined to create a C-shape. This echoes the brand’s mission to create an inclusive, pioneering movement – delivering mental fitness coaching services virtually, measuring outcomes digitally, through technology but with humans at the heart of it all.

The refresh enabled Cognomie to be a bolder and more confident brand with personality that resonates with their clients.

az design

We would strongly recommend Angela as someone who works in partnership, has excellent creative and design ideas which worked with her immediate understanding of our business, brand personality and drivers of growth.
