Get into Golf

An England Golf initiative to encourage everybody to give golf a go

AZ Design provided brand, design and digital support to Logan Sports Marketing on the rebrand of England Golf’s Get into Golf campaign. England Golf wanted to refresh the visual identity of the Get into Golf programme to stay true to its mission: ‘to make golf fun and affordable for the local community and break down the barriers that stop people from playing.’

Brief

England Golf wanted their Get into Golf initiative to have a dynamic and energetic visual language that appealed to strategically identified golfing personas.

Result

Working alongside Logan Sports Marketing, we created a dynamic and energetic visual language using 45 degree stripes, arrows and zigzags, overlaid on top of realistic and honest photography. The campaign focuses on key target markets, each with their own strapline ident and colour combination, to create an instantly recognisable and standout brand. A brand book and toolkit were also designed and produced to assist with the role out of the campaign at England Golf and club level.

The brand refresh was well received by the client and clubs alike and allowed England Golf to appeal to the right audiences.

As lead designer, Angela integrated seamlessly into the team shaping the look and feel of the logos, brand assets (both print and digital) and communication toolkits that were produced to support the Get into Golf campaign roll-out. She was creative and dedicated throughout and I look forward to working with her again on future projects.
